Re: Ethics Committee Office
*Mozy enters the room* Honestly I just turned on the ringer, I heard she was in.*as the word she leaves his mouth air quotes fill his hands.* She is not dead doing what she does and is minimally insane, also you just got here you have not seen half the stuff that goes on around here. There is a very easy to use form for personnel breaking objects, it comes with an instruction booklet. It is even easier than taxes. But as I was saying if anyone is going to be dealing with discipline in the psyche ward let it be the medical doctors. Now what has you in such a mood David?

Re: Ethics Committee Office
"Sir, it's the blatant disregard for authority. The fact that some people have such a lack of care for the policies and rules that they shouldn't even BE where they are. Besides, it's a repeat offender. I'm sure you know that textbook of a file she has piled up. Back at Site-17, we NEVER had 'rebels' that were this problematic." David paused for a moment. "Too many things happened too quickly in this recent incident for me to actually get proper protocol established. Hell, what sent me down there was a call for a walk-in, as such, I simply walked down there to see what the fuss was about. I honestly didn't expect something so infuriating. It won't happen again. I swear it."

Re: Ethics Committee Office
*Simple look of amusement.*You bless your lucky stars you do not have to deal with the paperwork from level four clearance. Within the Ethics committee we tend to get stories of things that are not discussed. Never discussed. *there is a short pause* But some things are ok to talk about with those of correct clearance level. As I was saying there are some things that can be discussed, such as all the issues at the sites 17 and 19. They are not particularly bad because they are solved and most people never hear of them. Their budgeting is a thing of wonder and mystery, also there are some things you can be glad for there are no high ranking scientists here messing with things on their level that sometimes maybe go too well or the experiment shows great reactions. You will learn that while scientists love success they love progress and sometimes it is a tiny bit messy. So you learn to be happy with where you are. Also it is ok to get angry just do not take it out on them, they have more guns.

Re: Ethics Committee Office
David smirked a little. "Too true... Anyway, I take it this heart-to-heart is adjourned?" He asked respectfully. As it were, he had done something wrong in taking out anger on site-personnel. It was the mercy that his superior had that kept him from an immediate strike, or worse... Demotion. In any case, there was work to be done, and files to be looked over. Perhaps the day could finally resume as it should, and this incident be shuffled in with the rest of the paperwork.

"Of course, Sir." He said with a smile. David DID, after all, owe his superior some co-operation for that bailout.

Dr. Wyvern entered the office, adjusting her hair out of her eyes. "This is the Ethics office, correct?" She asked.

David's head popped up from his desk. "Ah, yes, I'll be with you in just a moment." He said, clacking away on his keyboard and shifting papers around. After a few seconds of this, he picked himself up and walked up to the newcomer. "Ah, hello ma'am. How can I help you today?"

Re: Ethics Committee Office
"Ah, of course. You must be the young doctor going by 'Wyvern.' Well, if you'll please take a seat there, we can go over your paperwork and figure out exactly where your position is." David said with a thin smile. He would've done anything to get out of doing more paperwork, but it was nearly the end of his shift. If this little appointment went on long enough, David might be able to get away with filing the rest of his bureaucratic work to the interns for the night, and doing something more satisfying once he punched-out.

Dr. Wyvern sat down as instructed, glancing down at all the paperwork. She could assume this was one of the least exciting jobs at the Foundation.

Re: Ethics Committee Office
Raphael opens the door to the office, his arms are laden with a lunch pail, a clipboard and a coffee mug. He enters the room and closes the door with his foot. The door slams due to unchecked momentum leaving the glass to reverberate in the frame. He looks over the office long enough to see that David was already occupied by addressing the questions or issues of an employee. Laden with the remnants of his lunch break he makes his way to his desk, as he goes he clips a trolley holding the inter office mail with his hip. His hip hitting the trolley causes the clipboard to fall from his arms making quite the ruckus in the otherwise silent room. Raphael quickly picks up the clipboard and finishes trip to his desk. Raphael places the clipboard and coffee mug on the desk while storing the now empty lunch pail below it, following that he sits and on his computer adjusts the paperwork from David to the interns, the transaction causes a notice at Mr.Alexander's work computer which had he been sitting at it would have told him of the adjustment. Raphael then starts the paperwork for the events of the days shift and the papers that passed over his desk, as the data had been logged during the day this process was simply a double check of the form.

Dr. LOC walks in and knocks on the door looking around the room and seeing the little bit of activity going on around seeing the two heads and waves at Mozy shaking my head softly my face moving into a smile that's hidden underneath my rebreather mask.

Re: Ethics Committee Office
Raphael looks up from his work, having just finished lunch he was not too far into any one thing. His eyes ran over the form of Doctor LOC looking for a clue to why the Doctor came personally not just sending an email or leaving files in a drop box(Physical not digital version). The lack of paperwork on the Doctor lead to a simple question "Are you here to talk or for business Doctor LOC?".

"Well I am quite busy but I can make some time for a friend, I haven't taken much of a break today as of yet. How have you been LOC ?" Raphael says as he puts down his papers. Looking up at LOC he smiles remembering the times they spent complaining about the underlings together. He stands to meet his friend with a bit of a spring in his step.

"Hello old friend I came on both business and to catch up the information I need to discuss consists of the research you want me to do with the medical staff so I came to update you and see what you think." Stretching I walk over and sit in a chair in front of Raphael's desk.

Brushing The Dust Off
David walked gingerly to the door, which had been closed for several months due to a strange anomaly. Several times they tried to open the door, which seemed to be entirely closed. They had exhausted many possibilities, but David was approved for something different.
He slid his keycard into the lock and opened the door.
"You're kidding..." He said in disbelief.
"EIGHT MONTHS OF THIS AND YOU GUYS FORGOT TO CHECK THE LOCK?!" He yelled at the scientists, whose faces turned white.
"What a waste of company resources... God, the damage control... Eight months' lost progress... I'm going to have an aneurysm..." He then proceeded to black out, and fell onto his rump, slouched against the wall.
He woke up in medical, who said it was a shock-induced faint, and sent him back.
((David is now, after Eight Months' forced leave, back in the Office.))

Re: Ethics Committee Office
LOC activates the door opening it walking in and looks around for Haven holding a large stack of papers in a tanned folder labeled research interests. After seeing Havens desk he walks over pulling a chair over sitting down adjusting his mask laying the large folder on the desk and takes a quick look at his clock then back up to Haven. "Hello my friend I'm here to request possible research subjects and to have them transferred here for for convenience and before you ask I've already got some of my staff setting up some rooms. so I just need ethics approval for my research and tests and if you like you can assist with supervision so everything is up to snuff." LOC leans back in the chair after speaking.

Re: Ethics Committee Office
Raphael Replies "we tend not to move subjects, we tend to move doctors, but If we do this let us limit this to one transfer, we might earn a favor transfering a subject. I will contact the other parties, What are your options you are proposing that you wanted moved?"Raphael looks expectantly for the files to be shown for his approval and judgement.(OOC tired will say more next time)

Re: Ethics Committee Office
LOC Nods Pulling out a file handing it over it reads SCP 073. "He would have to be my first subject then since he would be currently the most likely to produce any tangible results and would be one of the more difficult to move due to his little side effect. Though if he is unable to be moved here I can easily have one of my facilities to set up a containment zone and a place near by for easy access for everyone though the main difficulty can be dealt with on my part with how he would be transported. All I would need is for you to green light this experiment." LOC rubs his throat slightly then adjusts himself in the chair. (OOC: Sorry was busy I dont plan to take this long to respond in the future sorry)

Re: Ethics Committee Office
Raphael responds " honestly his issues could bring too much damage to the areas between the two locations, so it would be better to not do that. you can be put on assignment there but do not exoect much direct interaction. Otherwise what subjects do you have in mind?". Haven looks at his guest waiting for a response.

Re: Ethics Committee Office
LOC frowns under his mask but nod in compliance. "I understand I had the ability to prepare for the subjest transport by air to keep him from affecting any plant life but if you believe that it would be best to keep him at his site then I will comply with that aslong as I am able to bring my equipment to the sit to run my test and I'll need some contact with the subject for some of the tests or I'll need to bring in some of my personal personnel to conduct some of the procedures?" LOC leans back preparing to be asked to go into some modicum of detail to the procedures and tests to some degree.
