Richards enters the room with his cup of coffee, going through the daily ritual of starting the machinery and electronics. He sits at his desk and boots his personal computer. He opens his email to find the one from David in his Inbox. He quickly begins to type his response:

Thank you Mr. Alexander, May I request the time of the testing?

I'll personally be heading down there in around 30 minutes. We can discuss then. Look forward to working with you.

Richards reads the message and sighs, "Least I get this over with quickly." He finishes his cup of coffee and then reaches into his desk drawer for a high calorie snack, an energy source that has proved invaluable to him since his college years. He takes a small bit out of one of the bars he had in his desk and waits for David to arrive.

"get what over?" Aimus over hears Richards

Richards jumps at Sinclair's sudden appearance, nearly dropping his food, "Oh- umm....I didn't know you were here Dr.Sinclair. I'm just going to test my hypothesis on how to fix the containment issue with SCP-023."

"oh , what is the issue with 023? "

After a short stop in the lounge to get another cup of coffee, David made his way into Engineering. He found his way to Dr. Richards' office. Seeing someone already speaking to him, he waits outside the doorway. "Knock Knock. Ethics Committee..." He said flatly, behind the Doctor in the doorway.

"doors unlocked come in"

Richards breaks his attention from Sinclair and shouts, "Come in! The door's unlocked!" He turns back to Sinclair, "Redacted info at the moment Sinclair."

Raising an eyebrow at the doctor standing before him, he moved past the man, into the office. *Ahem* "Doctor Richards, we've met before, so I don't think it's necessary for introductions. Let's start discussing this... In private." He said, closing the door in Sinclair's face. "Eavesdropping little..."

Richards finishes his food and stands, gesturing for David to sit in one of the chairs across from his desk, "Please sit."

Aimus shrugs at the door shut in his face"Well I could use a break " he walks off until he can get back in

Sitting down, he pulls a coaster out of his pocket and puts his cup on top of it. "Hope you don't mind if I drink coffee, just met my boss earlier."

"Not a problem, I understand the...difficulties of working with others." Richards sits back down and folds his hands together, "No what did you need to talk about Mr.Alexander?"

"Schedules, conditions, and budget plans. Not to mention that I have to see the results and record them as per standard procedure." David said, sipping his coffee all the meanwhile. "Oh, as well as staff required, and any recommended individuals."

Richards shuffles through a few papers, "I believe we will need security staff trained to work in hazardous areas, I also believe that there is the possibility of 023's body heat igniting the Xenon and causing a possible security breach, so all guards should be on stand by for any situations." He hands David a few papers going into greater detail as to what these effects might be.

David looked at the papers intently. "Hmm... Alright, we can do that, though I'd recommend that we schedule this after maintenance on SCP-023's eyes, so as to prevent unnecessary fatalities due to eye contact." He said, finishing the small cup, and tossing it into a trash bin. "Now for Scheduling." He finished with a smile. "When do you think this test should take place?"

"Eh... That's hard to estimate, but it should be within a day or two, unless it burns slowly this time... I recommend it being around an hour after replacement, and done gradually so that it doesn't put out the flame." He leaned back in the chair, waiting for the doctor's reply.

"Now, everything has been discussed and confirmed..." He said, writing and signing blanks on the papers. "Right, hopefully this will decrease casualties for maintenance procedures, and make overall containment easier." He reached out his hand in an offer to shake. "I look forward to working with you, Doctor Richards."

Richards shakes his hand, "As do I with you, Mr. Alexander."

After the hand shake, David stands up, nods, and exits the room. He then makes his way back to the office.

AImus knocks on the door "can I go back in"

Richards walks in to the lab quickly, sitting down in his chair and opening his laptop. He quickly opens up the email application and drafts a quick email to Mr. Alexander.

TO:David Alexander

Subject: 023 Testing

Hello Mr. Alexander, I believe it is time we test the affects of xenon on 023. The recent lockdown has only emphasized the need to get this done as fast as possible. Please respond when convenient,
